While I was in town, Garvey approached me again. Got a few supplies, and managed to get actual directions to Diamond City beyond 'go south'. I'm willing to chalk that up to her being pretty old living long is a real accomplishment these days, and I'm sure she ran out of fucks to give about 30 years ago.

Got kind of an attitude, but a good sense of humor. While I was sweating my increasingly-irritated nuts off, a trader stopped by, name of Trashcan Carla. That little babysitting job cost me the rest of the day, but it wasn't a total wash. Since I'm a dummy, I said yes, not realizing that 'help' meant 'do everything for us while we try to repair walls with no tools'. They asked for help getting clean food, water, and some defenses. Woke up a few hours later, and checked up on Sanctuary, see how my friends from Concord were doing. Caught a few rads down there too, so had to take some Rad-Away and a quick snooze. Nothing really dangerous, but things might've gone poorly if they'd tunneled up through the floor while I was sleeping or something. Glad I did, the place was swarming with molerats. There was an active terminal in the back of the place that I didn't have time to read before turns out there's a cave under the station that the pre-war pump jockeys were using to stash waste materials and trash, so I decided to check it out. Afterwards, I got a small generator working and put in a few lights, since working by pip-boy light alone is bullshit. Built up a few walls, cleaned up and scavved some trash, and moved some workbenches into the garage. The place is kind of out in the open, but it's also pretty far out of the way of anything interesting, so I shouldn't have too much trouble keeping the place secure. Spent the last day and a half building some defenses at the Red Rocket.
